APPOINTMENT OF NATIONAL CONSULTANT – WRITER AND EDITOR (UNICEF@80 COFFEE TABLE BOOK) (100 openings) Dodoma · Seasonal · Start timing not specified Summary: UNICEF Tanzania is seeking a National Consultant to conduct research, structure, write, and edit a special commemorative coffee table book celebrating 80 years of UNICEF's impact on children's development in Tanzania. This role focuses on documenting progress in health, nutrition, education, WASH, child protection, social policy, and climate change. Responsibilities: - Conduct in-depth research on children's development in Tanzania, focusing on key areas such as health, nutrition, education, WASH, child protection, and social policy. - Develop a structured outline for the coffee table book that effectively presents the historical journey of children's progress. - Write engaging and informative content that highlights the contributions of the Government, communities, and UNICEF to children's development. - Edit and refine written material to ensure clarity, coherence, and adherence to UNICEF's standards. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather relevant data and stories for inclusion in the book. - Ensure that the final product is visually appealing and effectively communicates the intended messages. Requirements: - Proficiency in English and Swahili. - Proven experience in writing and editing, particularly in the context of children's development or related fields. Languages: English, Swahili Compensation: Pay: 1200 per month USD
