Welder

Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or vocational training in welding preferred) - 2+ years of hands-on welding experience in construction and/or fabrication environments - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications - Working knowledge of common welding processes (MIG, TIG, and Stick) and selecting the appropriate method for the job - Experience measuring, cutting, fitting, and tack welding materials prior to final welds - Familiarity with weld inspection practices for quality, strength, and alignment, with the ability to rework as needed - Understanding of jobsite safety practices and safe operation of welding equipment and tools - Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent) preferred or ability to obtain as required by project needs Industry: Construction
