Compensation: Gross pay (brutto): 28–$32 per hour USD Languages: Английский Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Stone Mason for projects in the Buffalo, New York area. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with natural and manufactured stone, brick, block, mortar, and other masonry materials. Candidates should be able to work independently, follow proper masonry techniques, and produce high-quality finished work. Responsibilities Lay and install natural and manufactured stone. Build and repair stone walls, facades, walkways, fireplaces, and other masonry structures. Work with brick, block, stone, and mortar. Mix and apply mortar according to proper specifications. Measure, cut, shape, and fit masonry materials. Perform tuckpointing, repointing, and masonry repairs as required. Read measurements, layouts, and basic construction plans. Ensure all work is level, plumb, properly aligned, and finished according to quality standards. Safely operate masonry hand and power tools. Maintain a clean and safe job site. Follow all company and job-site safety procedures. Work independently and as part of a construction crew. Qualifications Previous professional stone masonry experience is required. Strong experience laying and finishing stone. Experience with brick and block masonry is highly preferred. Knowledge of mortar mixing, joint finishing, cutting, and masonry repair techniques. Ability to use masonry saws, grinders, levels, trowels, and related tools. Ability to perform physically demanding construction work. Ability to lift and handle masonry materials throughout the workday. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Buffalo area. Ability to work safely in indoor and outdoor construction environments.
